Galaxy Z Fold8 owners: is it practical as your only phone every day?

I want to know whether the Z Fold8 feels practical after the excitement of a new foldable wears off. Is it comfortable to carry, easy to use one-handed when folded, and genuinely useful for multitasking on the inner screen?

PhonicSpecs Team note: the best replies here will explain whether the larger inner screen still gets used after the novelty wears off. Owners: please tell us what you actually do on it—split-screen apps, email, documents, reading, video, remote desktop—and how often you simply use the outer display instead.

Practical details matter too: pocket comfort, one-handed use, battery on busy days, camera convenience and confidence in the hinge/inner screen.

For buyers, a foldable only makes sense if the large display changes your daily workflow enough to justify the extra size, cost and repair risk. If you mostly use it folded, a conventional flagship may be the more sensible choice.
